Learn the writing skills necessary to craft publish-able texts and improve critical writing in the work-place. Self-assess your own analytical capabilities to address your professional development needs and demonstrate the ability to present an informed case for change in a workplace context.
This brief course will give you a clear understanding of what you need to get published (and why you need it).
In this three-hour on-line course, we will explore the following:
• How the critical incident “works” in a journal article/book chapter/blog
• What publishers are looking for/what you need to deliver
• An article from SAGE analysed with a view to joining the academic conversation
Finally, we will look at the possibilities of using fiction to improve your writing skills. We will be drawing on fiction from a range of superb mid-late twentieth century writers.
