GCSE Chinese Class for children aged 11 and over

A Chinese GCSE language course for children aged 11 years old and over. The class will take place on Mondays, 4.30pm-5.30pm at Lancaster University Confucius Institute (The Roundhouse). This course is for learners with the following knowledge of Chinese language and characters: Upper beginners level listening and speaking Mandarin (i.e. understanding and managing daily life conversations is essential.) Lower beginners level in reading and writing Chinese characters (about HSK 1 Level). Learners of simplified or traditional Chinese characters are all welcome. The teacher has a DBS. Michaelmas term: 14 September - 7 December 2026, excluding 26 October 2026. Lent term: 11 January – 22 March 2027, excluding 15 February 2027. Summer term: 19 April – 12 July 2027, excluding 3 May and 31 May 2027.
