Chinese Opera Culture Classes

| The Chinese opera culture classes are open to all students, staff and members of public. The classes will take place on Tuesdays from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at Lancaster University. From 29 April to 1 July 2025. |
| This culture class introduces some basic knowledge of Chinese opera, mainly with the example of Peking Opera, ‘the quintessence’ of Chinese culture and ‘World Intangible Cultural Heritage’. The class aims at supporting participants to learn about some core pats of Chinese traditional culture that are still embedded in the contemporary China, and enable learners to gain knowledge and skills of cross-cultural communication. |
