A 10 week Beginner Chinese course for all students, staff and general public from 29 April to 1 July 2025.
Tuesdays from 12:15pm to 1:45pm at Lancaster University.
For beginners with no prior knowledge. Learners will learn basic phonetics and tones and use about 200 words around the following topics: greetings, countries, nationalities, occupations and family members. The course will cover Discover China book 1, units 1-3. To make progress during the course you will need to allocate at least 3 hours per week for revision of each class and learning characters.
