A Quantum of Noncommutativity

£0.00 / unit

A conference in honour of Shahn Majid's 65th Birthday.
This meeting is a celebration of noncommutative geometry and its many connections to mathematics and physics. It will take place 100 years on from the introduction of the formalism of quantum mechanics and explore how that theory has influenced physicists and mathematicians to investigate noncommutativity, in search of deep new mathematics and answers to the biggest questions, such as how we can understand quantum space-time.
